Short answer
Neither program is a universal “best.” FundedNext’s Stellar 2-Step and FundingPips’ 2 Step Pro publish different evaluation targets, loss limits, minimum-day rules and reward conditions. The right comparison is the exact model and account version you would buy—not the brand name or a headline percentage.
This guide compares only those two named programs, using the providers’ own help pages checked on 1 November 2026. Rules can differ across other models, add-ons, platforms, purchase dates and account phases.
The published evaluation rules differ
| Rule on the provider page | FundedNext Stellar 2-Step | FundingPips 2 Step Pro | |---|---|---| | Phase targets | 8% in Phase 1, then 5% in Phase 2 | 6% in each phase | | Daily loss limit | 5% of initial balance per day | 3% of the higher opening balance or equity | | Overall loss limit | 10% of initial balance | 6% static from starting account size | | Minimum evaluation days | 5 separate calendar days in each phase | No minimum days for new/reset accounts under the current rule; older existing accounts may retain a one-day minimum | | Extra rule to inspect | Quick Strike must stay below 30% | Master-account reward options have separate consistency/profitable-day conditions |
These are provider-published limits, not a statement that one model is easier or safer. A larger permitted loss limit does not remove the risk of breaching it, and a lower target does not establish that a trader will pass. Read how each provider calculates equity, floating losses, daily reset time and breaches before paying. FundedNext’s Stellar 2-Step rules · FundingPips’ 2 Step Pro rules
Compare the reward stage separately
Passing an evaluation is not the same as meeting the rules on a later account. FundedNext’s Stellar page describes different reward options at checkout, including a standard cycle, a three-profitable-day option, and an on-demand option with conditions. The reward share and eligibility requirements vary by option.
FundingPips’ 2 Step Pro page lists a weekly option with an 80% split, and an on-demand option with a 100% split subject to conditions. Its page describes a 35% consistency threshold and at least seven profitable days, each meeting its stated profit threshold, for the on-demand option. These are not directly comparable headline percentages: the timing and eligibility conditions are part of the offer. FundedNext’s reward schedule
Important: check FundedNext’s date-specific wording
FundedNext’s published Stellar 2-Step page describes a 21-day first standard cycle followed by 14-day cycles. Its reward-schedule page also contains a note saying accounts purchased or reset on or after 12 October 2026 follow a 10-business-day cycle, while the same page retains earlier 21-day/14-day wording. Because those statements appear together, this comparison cannot determine which schedule applies to a particular new purchase. Before paying, ask FundedNext to confirm the exact cycle for the model, payout option and purchase date in writing, and keep that response with your order records.
A practical checklist before choosing
- Match the exact product name, phase and account type—not just “two-step.”
- Save the current rules and check any purchase-date transition notes.
- Compare how daily and total drawdown are calculated, including floating losses and reset time.
- Check minimum trading days, time limits, news restrictions, consistency rules and prohibited strategies.
- Compare reward timing, split, minimum amount, first-cycle rules, processing method and payout fees separately from evaluation rules.
- Check whether add-ons change rules or only change features, and note whether the choice can be changed after checkout.
- Confirm that the product, payment route and withdrawal method are available to you. These pages do not establish country eligibility or suitability for every trader in India.
- Decide using rules you understand and can follow; do not buy based only on a discount, headline profit target or payout percentage.
Keep the comparison factual: the pages can change, and your dashboard or purchase confirmation may be tied to a different version. If a key term is unclear, request a written answer from the provider before purchasing.
FAQ: Which is better, FundedNext or FundingPips?
There is no universal winner. Compare the specific account model, loss calculations, rule exceptions, reward-cycle requirements, costs and applicable purchase-date terms against your own needs. This article is educational, not a firm recommendation or personal financial advice.
