Searching for the “best prop firms in India” can quickly turn into a list of rankings, discount codes and payout claims. A safer starting point is to treat every firm as a separate contract to investigate—not as a recommendation. This is an unranked list of ten names and a practical checklist; it does not establish that a firm is safe, “top-rated,” legally available to every Indian resident, or likely to pay a reward.
The ten names below are The5ers, FTMO, FundedNext, FundingPips, Alpha Capital Group, Maven Trading, Top One Trader, Blueberry Funded, Goat Funded Trader and ATFunded. They were selected as research examples, not from verified traffic, independent ratings or performance data. Their products, rules and current status differ. In particular, ATFunded’s public homepage currently says it has paused operations; do not treat it as an available offer unless the provider publishes a clear, current resumption notice.
First, understand what “funded” means
A prop-firm evaluation may use a simulated account, a challenge fee and written limits such as a daily loss rule or a maximum loss rule. “Funded account” is marketing language; it does not by itself tell you whether trades are live, how a reward is calculated, who owes it, what conditions apply, or what legal rules govern your activity. Read the exact product terms—not just a homepage comparison or an influencer’s payout screenshot.
India-specific legal questions need care. The Reserve Bank of India’s forex FAQ says resident persons may undertake forex transactions only with authorised persons and for permitted purposes, and describes permitted electronic forex transactions as using RBI-authorised electronic trading platforms or recognised stock exchanges. The FAQ is general guidance, last updated 28 August 2024, and says the governing FEMA instruments prevail. It does not decide whether a particular simulated evaluation contract is or is not covered by those rules. Do not use this article as a legal conclusion about any firm or product. Check the RBI forex FAQ and seek qualified advice for your circumstances.
Also check the RBI’s Alert List. It says listed entities are not authorised to deal in forex under FEMA or operate an electronic trading platform for forex transactions, and warns that the list is not exhaustive; absence from it is not proof of authorisation. As of the RBI page reviewed for this article, FTMO appears on that list. This is an important warning about the relevant forex/ETP authorisation—not a complete legal assessment of every distinct service or product bearing a brand name. Verify the current entity, product and official RBI lists yourself before acting.
Ten names to research—no ranking or endorsement
Use each official page to locate the exact rules for the product you are considering. A name appearing here is not a claim that it accepts Indian customers or is suitable for you.
- The5ers — compare the exact program, simulated-evaluation terms, fee and refund wording, verification steps and any country restrictions.
- FTMO — read the terms for the specific CFD or futures product. Separately note the RBI Alert List warning above; do not assume the brand’s product terms answer Indian regulatory questions.
- FundedNext — its terms have separate product and eligibility provisions; check the current product, entity and country conditions that apply to you.
- FundingPips — use the provider’s live terms and rules page, and save the version/date you reviewed. The terms page’s automated fetch was restricted during this review, so no specific FundingPips rule is asserted here.
- Alpha Capital Group — identify the exact account type and its virtual trading rules, restrictions and review/termination conditions.
- Maven Trading — check the current terms, including the product model, simulated-account language and any update date.
- Top One Trader — review the agreement and its current eligibility and account-rule pages before purchase.
- Blueberry Funded — its help page lists purchase restrictions; a page that does not list India is not legal clearance or a promise that every payment/product is available.
- Goat Funded Trader — check the dated country-restriction page and then confirm your exact product and residence directly with the provider.
- ATFunded — the homepage reviewed on 27 October 2026 states operations are paused while the business reviews its offerings. Treat this as a status warning, not a current purchase option.
Provider pages are first-party statements, not independent audits. Terms and access can change after publication. A provider’s country list, checkout accepting a card, or an account dashboard appearing does not independently settle Indian legal, tax, banking or foreign-exchange questions.
A pre-payment checklist
Before paying any challenge or evaluation fee, save a dated copy or screenshot of the exact terms and get unclear answers in writing:
- Who is the contracting entity? Record its full legal name, address, governing law, complaint channel and dispute process. A brand name alone is not the contracting party.
- Which product is this? Distinguish CFD, futures, simulated evaluation and any later account stage. Check the instruments and platform for that specific product.
- What is the full cost? Include the entry fee, reset or retry fee, currency conversion, payment charges and any taxes. Find the refund and cancellation rules before checkout.
- How are loss limits calculated? Confirm balance versus equity, open-position losses, commissions, spread, the daily reset time and time zone, and whether a limit trails a high-water mark.
- What can invalidate an account or reward? Read rules for news, overnight/weekend positions, copy trading, automation, device/IP changes, consistency, inactivity and prohibited strategies.
- What happens at verification and payout? Check identity and address documents, timing, minimum conditions, review rights, reasons for withholding or declining a reward, and the exact party responsible.
- Can you afford to lose the fee? An evaluation can be failed and a fee may be non-refundable. Simulated results do not guarantee a live account, a reward, or future trading results.
Keep the comparison factual: date checked, product name, source link, fee and rule wording. If a page is vague or support will not clarify a material condition in writing, pause instead of relying on a “best prop firm” list.
FAQ: Which is the best prop firm in India?
There is no verified winner in this article. Eligibility, terms, product structure and legal considerations vary, and the names above are not ranked. Compare the current contract and obtain qualified advice where needed; do not treat a payout story or search result as proof of safety.
